——-————BIO—-—————

Greetings! Christine Amour-Levar here.

Please allow me to introduce myself.

Raised in the Philippines by my Filipina mother and French-Swiss father, I carry a tapestry of multicultural roots stretching from Mongolian Huns to Spanish Basque Conquistadors. Along my journey, I’ve lived on four continents, in seven cities, and travelled to nearly 80 countries, speaking six languages along the way. Today, I call Singapore home, where I live with my husband and our four children.

As a social entrepreneur, I devote my work to climate- and gender-lens investing, philanthropy and community building. I founded Women Beyond Limits – the umbrella for my philanthropic work – spanning challenging expeditions, meaningful journeys, mentorship programs and women’s community events. My environmental NGO, Her Planet Earth, sits under Women Beyond Limits as the expedition arm, raising funds through pioneering journeys that empower vulnerable women across Asia and Africa by supporting wildlife conservation, coral restoration and sustainable agriculture. We also run shorter Meaningful Journeys to partner projects, offer on-line mentorship to help women design portfolio careers, and, in Singapore, convene Terra Goddesses an NFT-based membership community, that runs events, talks and workshops that encourage volunteering as Big Sisters with local girls’ homes.

Leading all-women communities and expeditions into some of the planet’s most remote and challenging environments has profoundly shaped me. These journeys have tested my endurance, fuelled my courage, and strengthened my commitment to mobilising people, capital, and ideas — always with collaboration and purpose at the heart of everything I do.

A bit about my journey…

My career has taken me from McCann Erickson in Tokyo to Nike across four continents, and later to leading Marketing & Communications at Temasek Trust, the philanthropic arm of Temasek Holdings. These experiences gave me a front-row seat to the power of business, philanthropy, and storytelling to shape culture and drive impact.

Building on this foundation, I went on to establish a consultancy, two NGOs, and most recently, Investors for Climate — a global platform that mobilises capital for climate solutions across 40 cities worldwide. Through curated private gatherings in major financial hubs, an accelerator program for startup founders and a syndicate that brings together family offices, VCs, angels, and institutional investors, we accelerate high-impact climate innovations and scale solutions the world urgently needs.

I also serve on several boards spanning social impact, leadership development, and climate finance - including Investible, ACA Investments, Stewardship Asia Centre, Zero Waste SG and the Sulubaaï Environmental Foundation.

My dream is to help channel significant capital toward innovative solutions that can tackle the climate crisis while advancing equity and opportunity in society. Above all, my heart remains dedicated to advocating for vulnerable groups and protecting our planet. I feel fortunate to have found creative ways to build this legacy — one that I hope leaves a meaningful and lasting impact on the world around me.
