Every one of our actions reveals what we truly believe.

It is a vote for the kind of world we want to live in.

Christine Amour-Levar is a French-Swiss-Filipina Philanthropist, Adventurer, Author, Human Rights & Sustainability Advocate. She has built a global career as a Marketing & Communications expert and Social Entrepreneur intent on solving some of the world's most pressing issues. A passionate champion of female empowerment and environmental conservation, Christine co-founded Women on a Mission (WOAM) and founded HER Planet Earth, two award-wining, not-for-profit organisations that take all-female teams on pioneering expeditions, as a way to support worthy causes.

HER Planet Earth's primary objective is to raise awareness and funds for underprivileged women affected by climate change, while WOAM aims to empower women who have been subjected to violence and abuse. These challenging expeditions involve trekking across remote and untouched places around the world, from the Arctic Circle to Antarctica, from mountains in the Himalayas, to deserts in the Middle East and Africa. Some milestones include:
  • The world's first crossing of the Danakil Desert on bikes
  • The world's first stand-up-paddle board descent of rivers in the Kingdom of Bhutan
  • The first all-female migration with Nenets reindeer herders of Siberia
  • The first all-female crossing of the Lut Desert of Iran
  • The first all-female fatbike crossing of Greenland’s Arctic Circle Trail in winter
  • Summiting and naming of two unclimbed peaks in Antarctica’s Heritage Range - Mount Gaia, ancient Greek for Goddess Earth & Mount Malala, in honour of Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai
  • Crossing the largest caves in the world in Vietnam
